90 minute make: baby lock taster session

Come and spend 90 minutes in the cosy Sew Confident studio getting hands-on with our amazing baby lock overlockers! This relaxed taster session is perfect if you’ve never used an overlocker before and want to see what all the fuss is about.
You’ll make a sample pair of jersey PJ shorts using the Victory by baby lock, learning how to:

Confidently sew stretch fabrics

Attach an exposed elastic waistband

Add a fun lettuce hem finish
All materials are provided so you just need to bring yourself! You’ll go home with your sample shorts as well as bunch of new overlocker know-how!
Bonus: The cost of this taster is redeemable against the purchase of a baby lock overlocker – so if you fall in love with the machine (and we think you will!), you can take one home without paying twice.

Yes you can as long as it is in working order. Some overlockers(from supermarkets!) are very cheaply mad and cause issues as soon as they re out of the box - if this happens we will move you back onto our Husqvarna machine.
No you can't as the overlocker is a completely different machine with 4 threads and a blade that cuts. Some feet claim to mimic an overlocker stitch but it will never have the stretch or strength that an overlocker can provide.
This class assumes you can already sew as we won't be able to teach basics like pinning and cutting techniques so if you're an absolute beginner jump on our beginners sewing class first!
