Start your bra making journey here! Sewing your own bra can seem intimidating. We’re here to
change that! In this class we will focus on learning how to fit and sew a bra for your body. We
will be taking a deep dive into bra sizing, material functionality, fitting and pattern
modifications. You will learn tips and tricks for sewing a clean, finished bra that looks just as
good on the inside as it does on the outside. You will leave Bra Camp with new skills,
knowledge, and bosom friends!
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
• Bra fitting and making workshop (2-day workshop)
• Bra making kit with lace and all required findings and elastics
• 1 spool of matching thread
• Discounts from sponsors
• List of bra making vendors and resources
• Booklet of diagrams for basic bra fitting modifications
Underwires are not included, however you will have the possibility in class to try on different
shaped and sized underwires to determine which underwires you should order after the class is
over.
We will be sewing the Harriet Bra by Cloth Habit (28A – 45H bra size) or the Willowdale Bra
from Cashmerette* (28C-54J). These is are great beginner patterns, because they offers support
while still appearing delicate and beautiful. They have a 3 to 4 piece cup, which allows for good
cup volume and scooped back, which is not only very comfortable to wear, but is also more
supportive than a tapered back. These are great first bras to learn bra making techniques that you
can then use to make many other styles of bras!

If you fancy the project then absolutely! We sometimes get people coming along to class as a wee confidence boost after a break from the hobby, or if you want to sew with company it can be a great way to meet new like minded people!
If you have never sewn before you should jump on our Beginners Sewing Class to give you the basic skills required to then jump on the quilting class. In this quilting class we don't teach you how to use the sewing machine and need you to have a few sewing projects under you belt before joining. But the good news is you can do this beginners quilting class immediately after completing our beginners class!
You will learn both! Patchwork is when you take piece of fabric and sew them together to make a larger piece of fabric and the quilting is when you sew through layers of fabric and batting/wadding.
