The iceberg dress by Alice & Co Patterns is a quick, simple sew, even quicker if you've got an overlocker! This dress is a great wardrobe basic with lots of customisable features, you can find a whole range of (free!) neckline hacks on Alice & Co's website here, or try adding bell sleeves to really make the dress your own. The Iceberg dress has a simple, close to the body fit that is snug at the bust and hips, with a bit of room at the waist.

This pattern is absolutely beginner friendly, it's a great introduction to sewing with stretch fabrics if this isn't something you've tackled before!

Fabric:

We recommend the use of stretch fabric only, for example, cotton or viscose jersey. This dress would look amazing made up in a slightly heavier weight stretch fabric, such as french terry or ponte de roma.

140cm/55" wide fabric: 2.5m/2 3/4 yards for all sizes

150cm/59" wide fabric: 1.6m for sizes 6-16 OR 2.5m for sizes 18-22
