The Jump Up Suit by Alice & Co Patterns is the perfect introduction to sewing with stretch fabrics AND to the wonderful word of sewing jumpsuits! This jumpsuit is snug fitting on the bust, waist and hips and features on trend wide straight legs as well as easy to adjust vertical darts running from the bust to the hip.

This is also a great pattern to introduce yourself to your overlocker, if you have one.

Fabric:

It is essential for this pattern that you only use fabric with a two way stretch (meaning it stretches both widthwise and lengthwise!). This simple jumpsuit would look great in a medium weight cotton or a luxurious stretch wool. Choosing a fabric with a small lycra content is a good idea as this will help the garment retain its shape.
