Gütermann Maraflex Thread is flexible thread that is the solution to sewing stretchy fabrics without having to use stretch stitching.  This thread is not the same as shirring elastic as it behaves more like a normal thread with flex! Wonderful for top stitching stretch fabric as you don't have an ugly stretch stitch ruining the aesthetic of the garment. Where has this been all our life?!

Maraflex works as both a top and a bottom thread, ensuring a perfect pucker-free finish for your carefully created garments. You may want to lengthen your stitch to a 3/3.5. Test your own machines setting on a piece of scrap fabric first.
