The Helicopter top & trousers by Alice & Co Patterns is a pattern set perfect for building up your sewing skills! The Helicopter trousers feature a pleated front with minimal gathers, no side seams and no zip, making them the perfect easy to make pair of trousers you'll want to sew again and again. Whilst the Helicopter top is a simple sleeveless blouse featuring bust darts for simple but elegant fitting.

This pattern set is ideal for beginners and experienced sewists alike.

Fabric:

We recommend the use of woven fabric only. This chic set would look amazing in a soft linen, viscose or go full luxury and make up a set in velvet!

Based on 140cm/11⁄2 yards wide fabric, for both top and trousers you will need 190cm/2 yards for sizes 8–10, or 3m/31⁄3 yards for sizes 12–18. If you have narrower fabric you will need 3m/31⁄3 yards for all sizes.

• 140cm/55" wide fabric: 2m for sizes 8-10 OR 3m for sizes 12-18
• 110cm/43": 3m for all sizes

Notions:

• For the top: Small button for back fastening
• For the trousers: at least 1.5"/4cm wide elastic in a colour that matches your fabric choice, or in a contrasting colour to add a pop of colour. You will need the length of your waist + 1.5"/4cm overlap.
