We can’t wait for you to join us and make these Sasha Starlight Palazzo Pants!
Featuring a sharp tailored front, contemporary ‘U’ shaped pockets and an adjustable drawstring at the back to give the perfect fit every time. It is a unisex pattern with 3 size options – Small (UK6-12) W32″ H38″, Medium (UK 14-18) W38″ H 44″ and Large (UK 20-24) W44″ H50″.
The trousers are best made in a light-mid weight cotton, soft Linen, lightweight/suiting wool, viscose challis, bamboo challis, chambray, soft satin or very lightweight velvet – nothing too structured or stiff as you’ll want them to drape beautifully.
As with all our Sew Along sessions you might not finish completely in class but should get most of the project completed.
You will need to purchase your own copy of the pattern before class. We have a 20% off code which will be in your PDF after booking.
What to bring:
- Your pre-washed fabric, already cut out and ready to sew. You will need 1.6 – 3.2 metres.
- 15 cm of 2.5cm wide flat elastic.
- 2m of 2.5 – 4cm wide ribbon or tape (for the drawstring.)
- 10 x 50cm rectangle of stiff iron-on interfacing (the woven type is best).
- Pattern pieces in case you need to double check notches etc.
- Matching thread
- Basic sewing kit (scissors, pins, chalk etc).
This pattern is suitable for intermediate sewers, you may find it a challenge as an absolute beginner or as a first garment project. If you are a beginner dressmaker then please take a look at our Make Your Own Clothes Class to get started on your dressmaking Journey. Please double check your measurements against this pattern before booking as you may need to grade up prior to class.
As long as you have either been to our beginners sewing class or have a few sewing projects under your belt then you can absolutely come along to the Sew Along Sessions!
Because of time constraints we ask that patterns are cut out beforehand but if you're not sure why no book onto a sewcial beforehand where we can help you cut your pattern out? The cutting out is time consuming which is why we ask everyone to cut out beforehand so you can get the most of the lessons and have more chance of finishing your garment.
