Loved our sequin sweatshirt kits but not sure you want to tackle the pattern yourself?! Let Cara take you step by step through the project and leave with the cosiest jumper that will become a wardrobe staple in no time!
We will be using the Drew Sweatshirt pattern by Tilly and the Buttons – we love Tilly’s patterns and this beginner friendly one is a great introduction to dressmaking and working with stretch fabrics.
In this class we will take you through:
- Taking your measurements and comparing to the pattern sizes
- Understanding your pattern pieces
- Cutting your fabric
- Optional Colour block sleeve
- Optional use of ribbing for neckline, hem band and cuffs

What to bring:
- Up to 3m of pre-washed fabric (depending on your fabric choice/size)
- Pattern – no need to cut out ahead of time unless you are confident in doing so.
- Matching maraflex thread
- Basic sewing kit(scissors, pins, chalk etc)
