Its the class all you beginners have been waiting for! We’ve got the perfect follow on class to get you all dressmaking in no time.
We will be using the Jaimie pattern by Tilly and the Buttons – we love Tillys patterns and this beginner friendly one is the perfect first project after our beginners sewing class.
In this class we will take you through:
- Taking your measurements and comparing to the pattern sizes
- Making any pattern alterations needed
- Understanding your pattern pieces
- Cutting your fabric
- Optional In-seam pockets
- Elasticated Waistbands
- Optional Drawstring Ties
There are lots of different fabric options for this project from ginghams to craft cotton, if you want a hand to pick some suitable fabrics then feel free to pop into the studio or drop us a message and we give you some advice.
What to bring:
- Up to 3.1m of pre-washed fabric (depending on your fabric choice/size)
- Matching thread
- Basic sewing kit(scissors, pins, chalk etc)
