We are thrilled to welcome Carolina Oneto to Sew Confident Dundee to teach a series of her workshops.

In this class you will learn how to sew curved shapes with your sewing machine.

This one-off workshop Carolina will explain, step by step how to make these beautiful organic designs, which will give you the possibility to freely create shapes on your quilts. In addition, she will show you 3 variants of these forms (one form on top of another, one form next to another and one form within another) and give you ideas to inspire your next creations.

Sewing machines are provided but if you would like to bring along your own machine then just let us know before the class.

What to bring: 

• 1 fat quarter of your background fabric (solid or prints)
• Four 10” squares of fabric (different colours). These squares will be your organic shapes and can be solids or prints.
• 2 colours of threads, one in a contrasting colour with your background fabric and another in a matching colour with your background fabric.

You are required to bring along your sewing kit, to include pins, scissors with a fine point for cutting fabric, seam ripper, erasable marker and a pencil.  We will have these available to purchase on the day if you need them.

We will not have time to cover how to quilt and bind your quilt top in this class. This class is not suitable for complete beginners but if you have some sewing machine experience and would like to attend then please get in touch to discuss before booking.
