In just 3 hours you will learn some of the most important tips and tricks of patchwork and quilting. You will leave with a beautiful patchwork, quilted, lined zip bag and intermediate skills to go on to our more advanced weekend quilting classes and beyond! This short 2.5 hour class is the perfect way to dip you toe in the quilting waters…but be careful it’s VERY addictive!
What to bring:
- All materials are included for you in this class but if you did have any non stretch fabric you wanted to bring feel free.
- Please bring with you a basic sewing kit such as pins, scissors, unpick etc
This class is perfect for you if you have attended out beginners sewing class or if you have a few projects under your belt and can use a sewing machine. If you are in doubt please get in touch!
Every studio is different but we do hold these classes regularly. If we don't already have a date in the diary we can add you onto a waiting list to make sure you are the first to hear about the new dates.
The more the merrier when it comes to fabric! If you already have some materials that you would like to use up then of course you are more than welcome to bring them along.
Yes! In this class we give you a taster of what quilting is like without too many technical terms and techniques. We are already obsessed but this is the perfect way to see if you will like it before committing to our beginners quilting course, and of course you go home with a great little quilted bag too!
