Quilting & Patchwork: Halloween Ghost
This class is a super exciting opportunity to really delve into the world of patchwork patterns! We aim to demystify using a pattern and show you how to use a block to the most of its creative potential! You’ll be using the Ghost Quilt pattern from ‘Then came June’ to teach you how to follow a quilting pattern to create a repeating block!
By the end of the day you’ll know how to:
- Read a quilting pattern
- Create half square triangles
- Learn to create and use a block
In class you should have time to complete at least one block and then either finish your Halloween quilt at home or turn it into a cushion or wall hanging! This class is ideal for those who’ve been along to our Beginners Quilting Classes or our Intro to Quilting! We’re ready to take your quilting to the next level!
What to bring:
- Then Came June Ghost PDF Pattern
- Basic sewing kit(scissors, pins, unpick)

Ideally you want a quilting cotton but any weight of 100% cotton should also work. Quilting cotton is a nice medium weight making it nice to work with and giving a uniform look for your finished item because it is all the same weight. We can help you choose fabric if you are no sure just get in touch firstname.lastname@example.org
This class is a great intro into the world of patchwork quilt patterns and will certainly make it easier for you to give other patterns a go. You'll learn techniques and terminology that will stand you in great stead moving forward!
