This is a great pattern that suits a variety of styles, go for a traditional boiler suit with a structured denim or go for something more chic by using a soft velvet, the choice is yours! This is the ideal pattern if you're a confident beginner looking to take on a project that'll challenge you whilst also helping you improve your sewing skills!

We'd recommend this pattern for an intermediate to confident beginner as this pattern features a few more complex construction methods such as inserting a zip, waistband casing and inserting sleeves.

Fabric:

We recommend only using woven fabric for this pattern. This adaptable boiler suit would look amazing made up in denim, corduroy, cotton twill or a heavyweight linen, perfect for that classic workwear look! If you'd like to make a more glamorous boiler suit then you could use wool suiting, a heavy weight silk or a light wool mix.

140cm/55" wide fabric: 3m for size 8-12 OR 3.5m for size 14-16 OR 4m for size 18-22.

• Zip: 20"/50cm for sizes 8-16 OR 22"/56cm zip for sizes 18-22
• OPTIONAL: 4cm/1.5" wide elastic for inside the waistband casing, you will need your waist measurement minus 10cm.
