Our Sew-Alongs have thus far been reserved for our VIP members, but we’ve decided they’re too good to keep a secret!
Why not come join us for one of Sew Confident’s popular Sew-a-longs – the Sagebrush Top by The Friday pattern Company.
In this 3 hour class we will make this lovely spring/summer top in your chosen fabric. The Sagebrush is designed for woven fabrics. Loose without being baggy it has generous puff sleeves with gathers across the front that make it comfortable to move in, (You do not need to include the front ruffle)!
The Sew-a-long sessions are designed to make a good start on the project but please be aware you may not finish on the night, hemming and finishing cuffs etc will need to be completed at home or you can always book a Sewcial if you would like a bit more support with this!
We can even suggest some fabric if you are unsure what to choose.
What to Bring:
- Sagebrush Pattern
- Fabric(see pattern for amount)
- Basic sewing kit(scissors, pins, chalk etc)
We always recommend washing your fabric before cutting out your pattern so you will have to bring this along with you. If you are confident and want to pre-cut your fabric ahead of time then go for it! If not we can do this in class but there is a chance you might not get the garment completed in the time as everyone sews at a different pace. Your pattern will be ready for collection from the time of booking or we can post out (postage fees apply).

As long as you have either been to our beginners sewing class or have a few sewing projects under your belt then you can absolutely come along to the Sew Along Sessions!
Because of time constraints we ask that patterns are cut out beforehand but if you're not sure why no book onto a sewcial beforehand where we can help you cut your pattern out? The cutting out is time consuming which is why we ask everyone to cut out beforehand so you can get the most of the lessons and have more chance of finishing your garment.
